One of the things that makes our community so incredibly special is the people who live here. If you've ever driven through the Port Streets, especially down Port Nelson, you might have noticed a fully functional, high-end bike shop inside of a neighborhood garage.
Meet Jon, the owner of Fresh Bikes.
A Lifelong Passion for Cycling
Jon’s journey began back in 1967 when his father bought a high-end bicycle, sparking a lifelong passion for the sport. By 1971, Jon was putting his skills to work in local bike shops.
After years of running a highly successful mobile repair business out of a truck across Orange County, he decided to become his own boss and bring his expertise closer to home. In 2010, he transitioned his business to his home garage right here in Newport Beach.

John operates out of his Port Nelson garage Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
He loves when neighbors walk by, stop in, and share their cycling stories.
